🙋 Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get started with LearnMath?
▼
Open the app and tap any topic from the Home screen. Each topic shows your progress percentage. Start from "Arithmetic" if you're a beginner, or jump directly to the topic you need — like "Calculus" or "Probability". Tap a lesson to start reading, then mark it complete when done.
Is the app completely free? Are there any in-app purchases?
▼
Yes — LearnMath is 100% free with no in-app purchases, no premium plans, and no ads. All 70+ lessons and 150+ quiz questions are available from day one. We plan to keep it free forever.
How does progress tracking work?
▼
After reading a lesson, tap the "Mark as Complete" button. Your progress is saved locally on your device. The Home screen shows overall progress and per-topic completion percentages. You can reset all progress from Settings → Reset Progress.
Can I retake a quiz after completing it?
▼
Yes! After finishing any quiz, you'll see a "Retry" button on the results screen. You can retake any quiz as many times as you like. The Quiz tab also lets you browse and restart quizzes by topic category.
The app crashes or freezes. What should I do?
▼
First, try force-closing and reopening the app. If the problem persists: (1) Check you have the latest version from Google Play, (2) Restart your phone, (3) If still crashing, try clearing the app cache in Android Settings → Apps → LearnMath → Clear Cache. Please contact us if the issue continues.
My progress was reset after an update. How do I get it back?
▼
Progress data is stored locally on your device. Updating the app through Google Play should preserve all data. If progress was lost after an update, unfortunately it cannot be recovered as we don't store data on any server. We're working on an export/backup feature for future versions.
How do I change the text size or switch themes?
▼
Open the app and tap the ⚙️ Settings tab in the bottom navigation. You can toggle between Dark and Light mode, and adjust the font size using the slider. Changes apply instantly across the entire app.
Does the app work offline?
▼
Yes! LearnMath works fully offline. All lesson content, quizzes, and progress tracking work without an internet connection. No internet is ever required after the initial download.
I found a mistake in a lesson. How do I report it?
▼
Thank you for helping us improve! Please use the contact form below with the subject "Content Error". Include the topic name, lesson title, and the specific error you found. We review and fix all reported errors promptly.
Is my data safe? Do you collect any information?
▼
LearnMath collects absolutely no personal data. Your progress is stored only on your device and is never sent anywhere. We don't use any analytics, tracking SDKs, or advertising. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
Can I suggest a new topic or feature?
